Thank You, Lucky Scent!
Thank you all for visiting LuckyScent and collecting your free bottle of perfume! All 500 bottles have been shipped to their new homes. A few of you have already emailed let us know you received your bottles. We are thrilled you are enjoying your new summer frangrance. :)
And now for a shameless plug…
We were able to offer such a wonderful giveaway from LuckyScent ($100, plus free perfume) because of all of you. The more people who take the time to answer the daily questions, the more people that visit the site, the more attention and word of mouth visits we get, the easier it is to get big companies to sit up and take notice. We want each month on The Bright Side Project to be better than the month before. We need your help to make us bigger and better!
And now for a little myth busting…
We hear it time and time again–I don’t want to tell anyone about The Bright Side Project because it decreases my odds of winning. False! You actually increase your chance of winning bigger and better prizes. You all have been doing a fantastic job of telling people about us in the last few months. And look what happened…500 bottles of free perfume! Keep talking, people. Keep spreading the word and let your friends know what you’ve been doing every morning when you get to work. Yay for the Brightside Project!! I hope you, Miss B and Miss K, are richly rewarded for all your hard work. I definitely experience brightness in my life when I visit this blog. Thank you for free perfume too (and thanks LuckyScent!) I have told my friends about the blog, and showed off a purse I won from RedRubyRose.etsy.com, and they were baffled. “You got that for FREE?” They said. They thought it was too good to be true. I will continue to spread the word!!!
Mai–not richly rewarded. So far, we do this for free. We hope that won’t always be the case (we would love to make The BSP our full time day jobs) but for now we do what we can gratis and in between work and family. :)
Yes, I also want to say thank you. Your email is my first choice every day. I was lucky enough to win a ring from Yukiko, in April or May. I am now addicted to Etsy, if I have a free moment I am there looking for something, anything.
And I am also one of the lucky 500 to be waiting for my purfume. Whoo hoo, you guys are the greatest. And to all the artists and companies donating to make this recession less yucky for all of us thank you, too.
