{please visit Fortune Cookie Cafe here}

Jumping Jehoshaphat! That is exactly what Miss B. and I thought when we first laid eyes on these sugar coated shortbread cookie sandwiches.  I’m sorry, let me repeat that: sugarcoated shortbread cookie sandwiches.  There is nothing more to say.  The End.

The little balls of sins are the creation of Scheila Paquet of Fortune Cookie Cafe, aka my nemesis.  Fortune Cookie Cafe offers artisan products from their devil’s lair small kitchen Princeton, NJ. These little sugar cookies come sandwiched with an assortment of fillings like raspberry jam, triple berry jam, 60% bittersweet chocolate, and the fruits of all your now sabotaged dieting (maybe not that last one).  The name of these tempting morsels?  Butterball Cookies.  Because you didn’t already know you weren’t going to be able to eat just one.

Fortune Cookie Cafe is giving away one package of Assorted Butterball Cookies. In order to win, please answer the following question by Saturday, August 29, 2009.

What flavor combination would you love to see in a cookie?

Please start checking the winner’s box on Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Good Luck!

    Oh, boy! Chopped English walnuts, expresso, and dark chocolate …mmmm, kind of like a Kentucky Derby pie in a cookie! Maybe with the slighest hint of Kentucky bourbon in the grown-up version.?Mmm, that made me think of a bourbon ball inspired cookie…and buckeye cookies, too! Perfect for the holidays!

    Would love to see hazelnut and chocolate something. Very Nutella inspired!

    Holly F. says:

    Almond and raspberry. Or lemon and ginger.

    mmmm yummy! I always put lots of mochi and raspberries in my frozen yogurt so I wonder how they would taste in a cookie…
