THE LIST
Are you ready for the best month ever?
When Miss B and I were brainstorming themes for the holidays, we knew we wanted a month that could potentially cover every single person on a shopping list. We decided we would call November’s theme “The List” and take care of everyone we know reads the blog: The Foodie, The Do Good-er, The Fashionista, The Paper Connoisseur, The…you get the idea. We can’t tell you everyone on The List without ruining the surprise!
But we weren’t completely satisfied. We liked it, but we didn’t love it. There was something missing.
And then one day Miss B. and I were talking about how tight our shopping budgets were going to be this year, and that the most dangerous part about buying presents is wanting to buy the same thing for yourself. Birds of a feather flock together, right? It only makes sense for foodies to hang out with other foodies, fashionistas with other fashionistas, and so on and so on. With money so tight, there wasn’t going to be any “one for her and one for me” shopping this year…
Wait a minute.
Miss B. sat up with that wild look in her eyes that means she has a fantastic idea or her mascara is flaking. I knew it had to be a fantastic idea because I gave her the latest and greatest mascara for her birthday (and for what I paid for one tube, any flakes had better be made of gold). Luckily, it was a fantastic idea. It occurred to Miss B. that we might not be able to do “one for me and one for her,” but our contributors can.
Yep. Every feature this month will cover one person on your holiday shopping list. The Foodie, Fashionista, what have you. But here is what is going to knock your flats off–our contributors are giving away double the prizes. One for you to keep, and one for you to give away as a gift to your favorite bird of a feather.

very exciting – question though – what mascara did you get her? i am always on a quest to find the best one out there….
JenLyz, Miss B got me the Buxom mascara which give very thick lashes AND the Tarte ‘llights, camera, lashes’! Which is all natural and makes lashes REALLY long. We weren’t sure at first because the brush looks just so-so but I really, really LOVE!
