BREAD OF MANY
{please visit bread of many here}
When Haley Dolan Katko said being featured on The Bright Side Project made her feel like she’d “just got called to be a contestant from the audience of The Price is Right” I knew I was going to have fun writing about her business! Have I mentioned I love The Price is Right? Cheesy game shows aside, Haley is a quirky girl that fiends paper, likes candy, and has a cat. She describes herself as a stationer, illustrator and musician who is interested in the art of imagination. So it will come as no surprise that her shop, Bread of Many is terrific!
Aiming to cure the world of one mass produced card at a time, Haley strives to make Bread of Many a paperie that she herself would love. Hand lettering and whimsical illustrations adorn greeting cards, stationery and invitations. Each paper product has the same fun spirit that Haley herself embodies making them a pleasure to share but hard to part with!

Aliens – why wouldn’t there be life forms in other parts of the universe? It makes more sense to me to assume there are than that there are not.
Fun! =)
For approximately every grain of sand on Earth, there are a hundred stars in the universe. So, I would say aliens are much more possible than ghosts.
Both, but definitely ghosts. No scientific answer here…just that “feeling” you get sometimes…hairs standing up, shiver, etc. Ghosts/angels…yep, definitely! xoxo
I feel a bit wacky just saying this, but I think I’m more likely to believe aliens exist. I just can’t believe that we are the only life form in *all* that space out there.
I think ghosts are more likely bcuz I believe that there are many planes that exist to live on…
Ghosts. I imagine it stems from my belief in heaven and hell, angels and demons – spirits just are not that far fetched. They’re like us … only their on the other side. Aliens, on the other hand are just so … well … alien. :)
None, but if I have to choose (And I have to, cause I would love to win the beautiful cards) it would be ghosts, because I would like that idea. It would mean that my grandma might be near to me sometimes.
I am more inclined to believe in aliens because in this vast universe there are many, many solar systems. We have not been able to look for any life forms outside of our solar system, much less outside of our own galaxy. So I think it is quite possible in all the enormity for another life form to have evolved – not sure if they would be more or less intelligent than humans…
Love the cards and especially the hot air balloon papers!! Hope I win!
Aliens – because I really can’t believe that we are all alone in this vast universe.
Ghost because I have had the pleasure of seeing one. They do exist and I think we have to share this planet with them.
Aliens. How could we possibly live on the only life-supporting planet in the universe? Not that I’m not open to the possibility of ghosts…
Ghosts- I think it’s possible for people to have unfinished business after death. Also, the thought of loved ones checking in on those still on earth makes “sense” to me.
Ghosts. People are too complicated and special to just disappear forever. Whether it is an actual manifestation, or just a feeling that someone who has passed is near, I think that ghosts can make themselves known.
Definitely Ghosts, I feel that their are spirits that have to stay behind to watch over us and finish their unfinished business. I have never seen a ghost, but i am hopeful some part of my mothers spirit is always around me!
There are stories
200 hundred years old
walking round this house.
We hear them
when the lights are dark
and we are quiet,
or trying to be.
They sound strangely
like us. The crying baby,
anxious woman,
the angry man.
Sometimes, when you are
gone, I pretend
to be better than I am
in case they are watching,
evaluating me with
invisible clipboards clasped
in their invisible hands.
I think, somehow,
if they believe in me,
approve of the soft noises
I speak over our
half-asleep daughter,
I will feel them less.
If I am just good
perhaps their pain
won’t sparkle
through the night
when I am trying to
cast a spell of
lasting sleep on her,
Trying to pretend
you aren’t invisible too.
I think they both exist – there’s too much unexplained phenomena and things that happen outside the realms of logic to dismiss both ghosts and aliens. Since the question asks us to pick on, I would say aliens because as Fox Mulder’s poster says “I Want To Believe”
Eek both!
The logical part of my brain says aliens, because the universe is HUGE so I highly doubt we’re alone.
The irrational part of my brain that hears bumps in the night totally says ghosts.
I don’t believe in either, but I guess aliens seem more likely. I don’t think they’d be anything like aliens in movies, but the Cosmos is so big that there could be other life out there!
Wait, does this question imply that neither exist? I am inclined to BELIEVE in neither, but I HOPE in both. Who doesn’t like a friendly ghost who rattles the kitchen pans at night, or a blinking flying saucer swooping by on a dark and boring night?
Aliens are more likely
aliens. i just finished watching avatar (best movie on earth) and got aliens on the brain. :)
Aliens. There are so many unknowns out there, and aliens most likely inhibit those areas!
Aliens. We can’t possibly be the only life form out there in the great, vast universe.
I definitely think that there are aliens out there. There have to be! But my fear is that we’ll never get to meet any of them, or if there are alien life forms out there, they are so different biologically that we never realize they are actually alive. So while I believe absolutely there are aliens out there, I HOPE that ghosts exist because then there is some common ground there. I believe that if there are ghosts, they are not all ill-willed, but perhaps that there are benign spirits who either have some unfinished business, or, perhaps, just curious. That said, I will go ahead and put my bits of belief in the ghost bucket and hope that encourages a friendly ghost to come my way.
I actually believe in both… not that I’m sitting at home thinking about them… but “why wouldn’t there be other life forms out there?”. The universe is so big! I also definitely think ghosts exist. I believe they are souls that aren’t at rest.
Definitely ghosts because I don’t believe that all that we’ve accumulated in terms of wisdom disappears when our physical body dies. Where does it go? To ghosts!
Ghosts – I believe that those who leave this earth sometimes don’t want to go yet.
I would definitely lean towards believing there is intelligent life on a planet other than our own. I like to think about the vastness of the universe and I think it’s pretty arrogant to assume that the only planet where the conditions were sufficient to nurture and sustain life is our own. Of course, this is not to say that they would be anything like the forms of life on our own planet, and we may not even recognize them as such. But oh, I believe that they are out there.
aliens, i think are scientifically more likely. just look at the drake equation!
Aliens, hands down. If scientists have already found indications of bacteria on Mars, which could arguably be called aliens in their own right, then I see no reason why more advanced species can’t exist.
Aliens. I simply cannot fathom the depths of space and align that with a belief that they are devoid of life.
Hmm…I think that ghosts are spirits and I know there are plenty of those around. There’s the Holy Spirit and there are evil Spirits.
Aliens now…I really don’t know. Everything is possible with God so if he wanted to create aliens….. :)
Genevieve
ghosts. we all have souls that have to go somewhere.
Ghosts! I have experienced the feeling when you know your not alone in the room anymore. I know that people I loved are still with me and are surrounding me! I just hope they are friendly and don’t keep me up at night!
hehe
Ghosts, I think. I have to believe those are real since they are several places in the Bible…. Love the cards!! So whimsical and fun.
Oh, Ghosts far outweighs Aliens. I can totally buy into spirits at unrest, unable to cross to wherever they should be. Aliens? Too Sci Fi for me.
Ghosts, because I think it’s nice to imagine that our loved ones watch over us and experience our living lives with us.
Ghosts, not doubt about it, personal on hand expirence. Enough said.
Ghosts, probably, because so many people seem to have had some sort of ghost-related experience. Plus, I think my father-in-law lives upstairs. ;)
I can’t discount aliens, however, as it would be pretty self-centered to think we are the only life forms in such a vast universe.
Ghosts. Hands down. I know people scoff… but the spiritual world and the physical world are closely intertwined. Why else would we pray, meditate, sing songs, or raise our hands… but to feel conected to the spiritual part of our lives. I trust and have encountered that spiritual side… it’s not evil or good, it just is… present, constant, and moving.
ghosts… just because they seem creepier
aliens. look at this and tell me that there is no other life out there.

Ghosts. I’ve had several encounters with ghosts, starting in my early 20s. In the last year I’ve had my house cleared twice because we’ve had spirits of children there. More than once, I was awakened by little footsteps running in the hallway (my husband heard them too). One little boy pestered my daughter at night and scared her. Some people attract spirits into their lives, I guess that I’m one of them.
Well I think almost know there are aliens out there but I believe in ghosts. Believing means not really knowing.
Im very surprised reading all the answers that there are not more people who believe in spirts, ghosts. ( I like what Trish T #90 said).
Im very connected to my loved ones who have past. I get great strength knowing that I can count on them to guide me, watch over me, and be there if I really need them. Everyone one this earth has a great purpose. Think of those passed, and focus on thier purpose for living…. you’ll gain great wisdom, and peace.
Ghosts. I believe there are still loved ones among us. Watching out for us, praying for us and watching the paths our lives choose to take. That cold breath on the back of the neck when your hair stands on end…it’s a light kiss letting us know we are not alone.
Aliens…we’re all here because of chance mutations, so the idea that other beings could evolve on another planet is a short leap.
Aliens, but probably only because I grew up watching and reading way too much sci-fi.
I go with the aliens because it´s just not possible that we are the only ones out there right?
Ghosts… because I think they’re a lot more interesting and less scary than aliens!
