I am sure at least a few of you have resolved this will be the year you go out more, either with friends, partners, or husbands (preferably your own). My ideal bag must be functional but also eye-catching. There needs to be enough room inside for all of my “essentials” without being too bulky. I have seen a number of Dries Preston bags that I love. They are different, beautiful and also practical. I would love to own one!!
Number one item is that it must catch my eye — it can be black or brown or red or orange or lilac (I have all those colors) and it needs to have something a little unique about it. To be clear, though, I don’t like gaudy or flashy, it needs to classic with a twist! And, the Dries Preston clutch shown, fits the bill! Also, being a working mom of three with prescription glasses — the bag has to have some room in it for essentials like glasses cases, cellphone, tissues, scissors, even bandaids!
It must fit over my arm if it has handles. Otherwise, must have something that catches my eye and CALLS to me. I adore handbags of all sorts and these are just gorgeous!
It must be big enough to hold a small notebook, a pen and a book (at least a very, very, very small one ;)). When it also looks pretty, I’m all set.
above and beyond all – the ideal handbag must be one that everybody else must have !! it also needs to be beautiful – inside and out and be able to hold the necessities for a night out or a quick trip to the grocery store without looking like a piece of luggage — this handbag is a gorgeous example of what “everybody” would want — including me : )
What must fit in that bag on a night out?
Lipstick.. Check, keys… Check, cellphone..check (compartment for cell), a secret compartment to hide my tampons.. Check (um, no one needs to know my business. Lol) side compartment for my ID, credit card/$… Check,
the statement of my bag should say SEXY.. Yeah, I’m hot… Sheek.. Bold.. & of course.. You know you want me!
I have searched your site & your hand bags are amazing. The statement if your bags are definatly different & I love that! I love to carry around a hand bag that no one can get a hold of easily…. This bag you are featuring would be a bag I can use either day or night with a cute top & some jeans. It’s definatly an eye catching bag! & I would be proud to walk the city streets struttin’ the Dries Preston line.
I look for bags with the space and durability to carry my everyday needs: books and notebook are hard on bags! I like a few pockets for organization, a little bit of structure, and a zip closure to keep things dry in case of rain.

Form, function, quality. I don’t buy a lot of handbags so it has to be made well and not too trendy. It also has to be big enough to hold the essentials. A bag that is fashion only will not travel far or my date’s pockets will end up full of my crap. :-)
The ideal clutch bag will be a nice, decent size; a girl needs to bring many items to stay beautiful! The bag should be a color that is vibrant and yet can accessorize many outfits. A nice size clutch, vibrant color and yet still totally functional; perhaps a few zip compartments for lipstick, ID, cash and personal items. A timeless bag, one that will transition with me as fashion changes; every girl loves a versatile bag! We all know Dries Preston can give us what we want!
I like a bag that can really multitask! Something that can pop from outfit to outfit, dressy or casual. My everyday bags need to have a long strap so its hassle-free when I ride my bike around town. But “going out” bags are a whole different story! I love being able to edit everything down from the everyday bag to a sassy lil clutch! And this one looks perfect!
my ideal bag should hold my keys,cell,lipstick, gum and other “needed” items for my night out..it should announce me into the room and say look out…it should be soft and sexy with a touch of class and animal magnetism. I want it to scream this woman has got it going on and she is Hot…It should be able to go with that litle black dress or a pair of jeans boots and a t shirt. Dries Preston bags seem to have all of these basic essentials covered! Everyone should own one! they are Hot
It has to be big enough to throw over my shoulder, have a structured bottom so that things don’t get lost in the bottom, with plenty of pockets, and very light weight. YAY
