For a good six months leading up to our engagement, I asked my now-husband, “How about today?” When he proposed, it was at a Vietnamese restaurant, and I opened a fortune cookie to those very words: How about today? Obviously, my life has never been the same. Simple as it sounds, it’s a pretty powerful mantra to carry through life–why wait for tomorrow? Happiness can begin at any moment–you just have to invite it.

I never tire of the three-hole punch. I would three-hole punch every piece of paper I have if I had a three-ring binder to put it all in. three-hole punches are amazing.

I have a “Keep Calm and Carry On,” poster hanging above my desk and I end up repeating that mantra to myself as I rush to finish school work I’ve procrastinated on!

My favorite office supply is definitely note cards! I love writing letters and notes to people. My grandmommy and I are pen pals and she has the best selection of stationary. Every letter from her is beautifully written and her letters smell faintly like her house and remind me of visiting when I was little. She always includes cartoons or interesting news articles in her notes and remembers details and stories about my father’s and my uncles’ childhoods.

Post it notes!
I go to high school.. and in my locker, there is a stack of them..
and the inside of the locker door is covered with little notes that me and my best friend leave for each other.
My favourite sticky notes, though?
they have to be Knock Knock’s ‘complaint’ notes..
they are fun, funky, colourful, and useful.. all at once. :)

i am obsessed with paper products; regardless of size or utility. i love colored flippy squares of post its, heavy pads of thick note paper, and notecards shaped like flowers. i have file cards with strawberries, patterned filing folders and piles of gorgeous printed notebooks. i may be the only person i know who has bought a ream of paper on impulse. i just love it!
