My dream space would be cozy & comfortable with all my machines at desks appropriate to their task. I would have samples of my work displayed as decorations & plenty of open work surfaces to accommadate any crafts I am working on.

Lots and lots of storage, functional furniture – an island I think, and light. French doors…no two sets of french doors to let the outdoors right in. Wood floors and the walls and ceiling painted Benjamine Moore’s Decorator White.

Airy, high ceilings, lots of windows & light… big, huge, gigantic table in the center of the room…a big sink…a computer corner…sewing corner…..bulletin board walls…loads of storage….comfy chair & ottoman next to a bookcase….

With a two bedroom house and three kids+hubby, any space where I could just leave something out to work on rather than squeezed in a bag and put ontop of a cupboard would just be heavenly (maybe even a spot that was a bit childproof :) )

I have envisioned my dream studio for years. It would be on the whole second floor of my house, which would have a view of the ocean out the back. I would have big french doors and windows that opened to a deck across the whole back of the building, so I could sit out there with my flowers and have my coffee while looking at the ocean. The whole studio is white, with a painted white wood floor, and open beamed ceiling with skylights. It’s really light and airy and spacious, with lots of room for different projects, and for storing all my supplies and art materials. There’s also tables and easels for when I teach my art workshops. I LOVE my studio!!!

There are a ton of creative spaces I would love to have…but really I would have to say that any room I could officially call “my own” – that didn’t have toys, dirty dishes, diapers, legos, laundry, barbie dolls, bills, or the sound of the wonder pets booming in the background…well that would have to be my creative dream room!

My dream creative space would be a shed in my tiny back yard. I would love to have my garden embellished with more rusty treasures and start all my own seeds! Reality is…I live in WI and my husband is not as passionate about my finds! If I had a place to keep it and make it super cute…my Heart and hubby would be happy!!

I have a wonderful space decorated just for me, but I miss my family when I am separated from them. What I really want is to move my space to the basement where we can all be together. My dream space would be what I already have, just relocated and maybe a few more cabinets and bookshelves.

Pink! Pink! More Pink!

Big Wide Open Tables in the center of the room.

TIny shelves and hooks all over the walls to hold all my little treasures.

I need things I love around me to keep me inspired.

Smooth wood floors, perhaps bamboo or cork, easy to clean up.

More tables where I could keep my sewing machines out all the time.

And more pink!
