Love is tangible, friends. There are simple ways to bring love into your daily life and one surefire way to make it happen is to wear it. I, for one, know that when I wear jewelry, I do it to honor the beauty in my life and choose pieces that make me feel like the best version of myself. This is the purpose of adornment, yes? To accent the beauty, honor the love. It is a celebration full of intention and we are so honored to be a part of it.

Amy Waltz creates gorgeous pieces of wearable art so that you can have love right at your fingertips. Amy Waltz Designs houses unique pieces that speak to the individuality in all of us and honors that which makes us feel our most beautiful. These Stacking Rings are a personal favorite and the I Am Necklace is the perfect reminder to help us remember that we are enough, we are strong, we are worthy. It is something special when a piece has the power to bring something positive into your life and with the “wearable love” from Amy Waltz Designs, you can own a piece of it as well. Win/win.

Amy Waltz Designs is giving away one $50 gift certificate to one lucky winner! To enter to win, please answer the following question no later than Tuesday, August 19th.

I love that I can change and still be totally myself.  I’ve recently started doing CrossFit because I needed to exercise to combat my depression (I’ve struggled with finding a kind of exercise that isn’t boring to me).  This might seem strange – I’m the “smart” girl (I’m getting a PhD) and the artistic/musical/theatrical girl.  But I’m making CrossFit my own.  I mediate while doing it. I envision myself as a dragon learning to control her fire.  I wear gloves so I don’t hurt my piano-playing hands.  I love that I can do ANYTHING and do it in my own unique way.   And I love that the world welcomes me to do that.  I’m thankful there is a place for me in this world.

I love that after bumps in the journey I’m always willing to dust myself off and get back on the horse, so to speak. Jilted in love more times than I can count, career going in the wrong direction for too many years, disappointed in so-called friends, I’ve always come out of these situations with a very positive outlook on life. Call me a hopeless romantic and that I see only the good in people, I don’t care. I believe wholeheartedly that no matter what happens in life, if you infuse yourself with positivity and throw it into everything you do, it becomes infectious and comes back to you when you least expect it.

My perseverance. I was just laid off from my 3rd job in a row in 10 years due to “Structural Changes”. I could let myself sulk and fall into a downward spiral, but I am keeping my chin to the horizon and thinking about what great opportunities I can now pursue. Each time i’ve been laid off, i’ve ended up in an ever better place, and I am confident that I can do it again.

i love that i am able to see both sides of a story. i like to look at things from the gray, rather than the black or white and try to figure out how to settle with consideration to both parties. it’s not always easy, but it’s how my mind works and i am glad for it.

i’m glad that i’m no saint in that i worry, freak out, feel sad etc. but then i know how take action in spite of how things suck and MOVE ON.

today’s been a horrible day in terms of stress (when i’m too stressed i can’t sleep properly or eat properly, and i can’t do work properly either) and i was really at the breaking point when i took some time to pray, breathe, square my shoulders and tackle my work even with the anxiety still somewhat gnawing in my belly (i literally feel it in my gut!) and tadaah! success. 🙂

    Meg T says:

I have a great ability to love. After the Trader Joes bagger tells me about the Judo match he is training for, I’m an immediate, invested fan. When stopped at a red light, I can’t help but pray that the people at the nearby bus stop find joy in their day. When my dentist tears up that their youngest is going into Kindergarten, I tear up too. I’ll go to any lengths to get a trapped mama hummingbird safely out of my home. And don’t get me started on my own little posse! I’ve got four little kids and a husband I’m crazy for. My heart is full (yet never really : ))

I just read your interview and feel like I had a little escape…thanks to the lovely philosophy of your jewelry and life. Until I read the question for this giveaway, I didn’t realize how rarely I think about good qualities about myself, which made me kind of sad. My favorite quality is that I find beauty in everyday things. Over the weekend, I saw a GIGANTIC sunflower and it made me so happy. The flower itself could have been worn as a hat, it was so large, and it was on a stalk that towered over the sidewalk. If I hadn’t looked up as I walked by, I wouldn’t have seen it. But even when I’m having a bad day, I try to look for beauty in the world.

My favorite quality is that although I’m often filled with self-doubt and worry, I try to go beyond myself and love others as genuinely as I can. We invite people over to our house for dinner several times a week. Sharing our home and home-cooked food is one of the best ways I know to include people in our circle and extend friendship and love. Food is communion and nurturing. Thank you for your beautiful philosophy. I love the way you speak about motherhood and how children open our hearts. I have three boys (and I adore your boys’ names) and although they are wild, they are the song my heart sings all day long.

    ginger G. says:

One quality I love about myself is my creative vision.  I’m able to look at something and see what the potential is.  For example, we recently purchased our home and when we walked in I immediately noticed it was exactly what i DIDN’T want in a house.  hah!  I started thinking, if we knocked down this wall, that fireplace, build and island, get wood flooring, a more modern paint color it will be perfect!  So we’re on our way to doing all of that!  My downfall is impatience though 🙂 Here I sit looking at a concrete floor, with laminate in the living room and half the dining room!

I love that I am a very positive person.  I see the good in people.  I give people the benefit of the doubt.  I see thing as glass half full.  I try to find solution to any problems that come my way instead of focusing on the problem.
