Hello, June! We’ve been waiting here for you, ever so patiently. Now that you’re here, let’s get this party started, shall we? First up on the agenda: entertaining. Isn’t there something about the start of June that begs for dinner parties, backyard bbqs, random afternoon potlucks? I start to plan all sorts of summer soirees once I notice that yes, indeed, Here Comes the Sun(shine.) This is also the time of year I start to celebrate color. From my home decor to my closet to my fingertips, I celebrate the sun with every shade in the rainbow.
Anna Joyce knows color and how to use it. From gorgeously printed textiles to hand-appliqued apparel, each piece in the collection sings with joy and celebration. And I want every single color available in these Hand Printed Cotton Pillows. The sun is shining and Anna Joyce knows how to capture it. Shine on.

I have so many… it is difficult not to be inspired by all the incredible fruits and berries that suddenly appear everywhere when the sun gets hotter! If I have to pick only one, I must say freshly cut papaya with a squeeze of lime or lemon. Taste-wise, it is the perfect imitation of what summer feels like.
a smoothie–i freeze bananas, then add almond milk, strawberries or any other fresh fruit on hand, spinach and ice. YUM!
Wow, I love the yellow ones! They’re perfect.
My favorite summer snacks are cherry tomatoes, fresh from the vine, still warm from the sun. Doesn’t get any better than that.
Thanks for your giveaways!

it’s a toss up between watermelon and raspberries.

Nothing beats a bowlful of summer strawberries! Especially when they’ve been chilling in the fridge for a bit. So refreshing and delicious!
My favorite summertime snack is fresh fruit like watermelon!
That would have to be frozen banana slices with peanut butter on top. They are so so delicious and refreshing!
Chips and homemade salsa!
I don’t know why but when i long for summer i grab goat cheese stuffed figs, omg the flavor combination and the texture, just amazing
My favorite is garden fresh caprese salad. Thank you for a chance at these artisanal napkins. Cloth napkins have been on my wishlist for way too long now…
I make a springtime pasta salad that is perfect in the summer! filled with lemon, cherry tomato and asparagus, I love to make it every June as asparagus reaches its best flavor!
In addition my newest obsession is rosemary raisin crips,, spread with just a little bit of cold and creamy goat cheese. I just love it!
Summertime brings me back to those super fun kid snacks… ants on a log (PB + celery + raisins!). Bring out the kid at heart!
My favourites are those rocket popcicles—You know the ones. Magenta, purple and green all layered on top of one another, so if you’re careful, you can bite through one layer at a time, while keeping the one beneath it perfectly intact. As a kid, I thought this edible challenge was the greatest thing to ever grace my summer… and as an adult, not much has changed.
I’m choosing two (one savory and one sweet). Fresh tomato with salt, pepper, and olive oil. And s’mores!!
Gazpacho – it’s the whole garden in a bowl!
I fill celery with laughing cow cheese and a sprinkle pepper on the top. I stop craving sweets so much in the hot days of summer and this snack hits the spot. Try it!!
An apple stuffed with extra crunchy peanut butter. It reminds me of summers at home with my mom.
Lots of berries and popsicles or shaved ice!
Popsicles!
A nice ice cold juicy peach!…
I love a giant wine glass of half moscato-half diet ginger ale with a handful of frozen fruit tossed in. It makes me feel almost fancy. Like I should be wearing a big huge white floppy hat or something.
Any fruit and plain greek yogurt.
These napkins are lovely
The FL heat is killer but the farmers markets make up for it ten fold. My favorite summer snacks are spoils from the produce stand.
A halved avocado with sea salt and a spoon! Or fresh strawberries. Love the raw foods that summer brings
FRUIT! I love all types of berries and watermelon. And after eating so healthy, of course I have to balance it out with some ice cream… ;]
Watermelon. Yes.
Icecream: strawberry and chocolate with fresh cream on top
Popsicles, hands down!
Wholegrain pita breads with Moroccan chicken and salad. SO GOOD.
frozen strawberries! They’re like little popsicles.
Slushies! And mango, chicken and walnut salad. Yum!
Peaches and plums!! Love these napkins too – I have been using cloth napkins for sometime now and am always looking for new ones
Definitely berries… strawberries, blueberries and anything containing them (smoothies, etc.) Also, I know this may not count as a snack but lemonade always reminds me of summer!
Coconut ice cream!
Summer is full of bounty from the California fields. My favorite by far is a freshly picked beefsteak tomato chopped, and laid on sourdough slathered with mayonnaise, and garnished with freshly cracked pepper.
Delicious!
Heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil from my garden, with a dash of balsamic vinegar. I wait all year for this treat!
I love eating chocolate ice cream.
Also watermelon is great for the hot summer days!

A frozen fruit salad!
My favorite summertime snack - ice cream
I love icecream for summertime snack
MANGOMANGOMANGO. In India, we can’t wait for Mango season to come around. Oh the lusciousness of it all! Ice-cream is a close second, though. Great heat buster!
Summertime calls for caprese salad and a nice glass of white wine.
fresh fruit smoothies or a nice glass of lemonade on ice of course!
mango/orange smoothies! yum. squeeze the day!
I do a happy dance when I spot the first cherries of the season in the grocery store. And then I make a frowny face at the exorbitant price they always are selling for at first. Then a few weeks later, the price comes down and I get a giant bag. My momma is proud that I grew into a lady who likes to snack on fruit! (This is not to say I don’t still have Easter candy squirreled away, because I do. This is real life. But I cannot WAIT for afternoon snacks of cherries!)

It’s so not grown up of me or very healthy, but if I’m honest a giant styrofoam cup of Big Red soda over crushed ice. Reminds me of my childhood summers in Texas better than anything else!
Raspberries, sun warmed and fresh from the bush.
Watermelon Italian ice!
