{shop :: Facebook :: Pinterest}

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! I’ll be honest: the commercialization and commodification of love is generally something I would stay away from. However, I have never been one to stay away from a day that celebrates love. Let’s make a pact this year. Let’s steer ourselves away from the pre-packaged, overly marketed symbols of the holiday and let’s take this day to honor ourselves, to love each other, to put love above all else. Let’s be our own Valentine’s and lets date ourselves, shall we?

First up? Buy yourself some jewelry. (You know what you like best, anyway.) Kim Gordon has created a perfectly curated boutique full of unique accessories and an ever-growing catalog to choose from. Beck N Hale Boutique (named after her daughters, talk about LOVE) is a one stop shop for all of your accessory needs. You can view a few of my favorites up top but take a moment and browse the shop for yourself. (You’ll have to sign in but it only takes a second and it opens you up to a whole new world of shopping!) Go ahead and buy yourself something pretty for the holiday. Because, really, no one else will love you like you will.

Beck N Hale Boutique is giving away one $75 gift certificate to one lucky winner! To enter to win, please answer the following question no later than Thursday, February 21st.
Please visit Beck N Hale Boutique and answer this: What is the thing you love about yourself the most?
Start checking the winner’s box on Monday, February 25th, to see if you’ve won.

    I didn’t see this about myself for a long time until it was pointed out to me a few years ago, but I believe WHOLEHEARTEDLY in my friends and family. I cheer them on (sometimes literally, when my husband runs marathons) and encourage and support them all the time. I have a hard time believing in myself sometimes, which I’m working on, but I love that I believe in my loved ones.

    My disposition and attitude. I hung out with a group of “mean girls” in college and they turned me into someone I didn’t like. Over the past few years I have let all of that go and slowly become on the outside who I have always been on the inside.

    First of all, your shop is gorgeous. So well curated and thoughtful. To your question, I feel a little like I’m in a job interview and you asked what my biggest strength is, and I have to, you know, carefully choose my words so it doesn’t sound like I’m bragging…but…I’m going to say that I love that I love to cook. My two kiddos and I have to eat every day, so I’m glad that I take joy in feeding myself and my chilluns and exploring new tastes and flavors. Not to mention, there is something really spiritual about filling my children’s bodies with good, wholesome food, sustaining their lives with things I create with my own hands.
