Here’s a question for you: does your idea of living “The Good Life” include your couch? Here’s another: does it include color? If you have answered yes to both of these questions, you have come to the right place. Let’s be honest, the couch is the most used piece of furniture in the room, don’t you think? (At least it is in my house.) There is reading, writing, crafting, working, napping, dreaming all taking place on one piece of furniture. In my mind, this qualifies as reason enough to accessorize said piece with as much beauty and color and vibrancy as I can. It is a reason to celebrate it, decorate it, honor it. It is a reason for me to need pillows that reflect this. Tell me I’m not alone in my fervor.
Gina Amoroso of Hettle Textile takes what could be ordinary pillow covers and turns them into extraordinary works of art that beg to be a part of your daily exhale onto the couch. These pieces are statements about what it means to you to expect beauty in every aspect of your life. From the simplicity of the Golden Yellow Watercolors (that bleed! gorgeous!) to the saturation of the Teal and Navy Hand Dyed Linen, these are the types of pillows that get people talking. Any conversation that starts with such beauty deserves its day in the sun, yes?

The last daydream I had was spending a whole day by myself, reading, walking, anything with not a single thought about work! About time I had some me-time!
i was day dreaming i was in the circus. i just read water for elephants and went to the ringling museum in sarasota florida, so i have it on the brain!
After a particularly hectic day at my admin job last week, I allowed myself a short little daydream of a time in the (hopefully not-distant) future where when the phone rings, it’ll be for ME. It’ll be a client asking to go over a design draft I’ve sent, or someone needing to discuss their vision for their branding. Then the phone rang and jolted me out of it and I had to transfer yet another person to voicemail. Someday I’ll be out of my real estate company admin position and be working as a designer, but today is not that day!
My latest daydream was creating a blog as innovative and AWESOME as The Bright Side Project!
That I was vacationing in Paris, a place I always wanted to visit!
I was shopping in NYC with Stacey and Clinton from What not to wear. I would love to have their advice!
