Oh, friends, let’s talk accessories, shall we? Our love for accessories is well documented here at the BSP and we take great pride in highlighting artists and brands we really believe in. While the market can be somewhat oversaturated with choices, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle and not know where to spend your dollars. Part of our job here is introducing you to artists who strive to make a name for themselves through sheer artistry and talent, not to mention great design and pure passion.

Mary Beth Heishman creates jewelry with a personal narrative, inspired by her environment under the moniker I Adorn U. Heishman’s designs are whimsical yet sophisticated and unique enough to become your favorite go to piece. These “Best Friend” necklaces are absolutely stunning (but I don’t think I would be able to convince my fiance to wear one with me) and these “Silver Chains with Arrow and Bird” are absolute perfection. Our love affair with accessories continues and we are so excited to add I Adorn U as our newest crush.

she’s been with me for over 40 years now. I don’t get to see her that often because we are both so busy with our grandchildren etc, but she will always be there for me. And I will always be there for her.

She is probably reading this right now, which is one of the reasons I absolutely adore her. No, but in all seriousness, of all the amazing qualities that Heather has, her ability to love outshines them all. Her pure heart extends to everyone and anyone she meets: stranger, someone she’s known for 2 seconds, her best friend, her family. Without her in my life, a part of my heart would be missing and there would be less sunshine in the world with her absence.

    This is for you Heather.

My sister didn’t become my best friend until we were both in our 20s. It took us that long to really figure each other out. She knows my flaws, my dreams, and my strengths and she can read me with just one look. Also, at the drop of a hat she can make me laugh till I cry. A must have quality in a best friend.

    Nikki says:

She is genuine. I love that we can talk about anything–no judging, no lectures, only sympathy, understanding, and humour!!  I appreciate her advice,  and when she shares her own trials she shares without reservation also.  It is so freeing to be able to be all of myself with her and have that reciprocated.

    MARIEL says:

I LOVE her because  we always plan to go to the gym or go hiking every weekend and we ALWAYS end up scrapping that plan and opening a bottle of wine around noon instead… and we are both totally okay with it.

    That is a true friend.

My sister is my best friend, and one of the many things I love about her is that even though we are opposites in many ways (taste in music, movies, hobbies; the list goes on) there is no one in the world that understands me more than her, and no one I’d rather hang out with.

years ago, my bff and i agreed that there was no point in being friends with someone who wouldn’t skip with you through the mall. and i know, that no matter how old we get, i can always grab her hand, and yell, SKIP B*TCH, and we will, indeed skip through the mall. or you know, go to the grocery store in our pajamas in the middle of the night, or eat popcorn for breakfast, or…whatever. i know that we’re on the same page when it comes to…being.

His steel blue eyes like a Siberian husky. No, I kid. His bulging biceps. No, seriously. My husband makes me laugh. Even when I am in a foul (dark, dark, dark) mood, only he can lift me right out and be patient while he helps me to untangle myself.

    Jennifer says:

My favorite thing about my best friend, who is also my sister, is that she feels like an extension of myself. Becoming a sister when she was born was the very best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s hard to tell where my memories end and where hers begin. She’s known me and loved me through every phase of my life and her support is endless.

    Courtney J says:

What I like about my best friend is we’re both calm people…but we’re also easy-going when making plans…We can easily agree on something without much discussion. We make plans but are also flexible depending on how things progress throughout the day.

My best friend is my sister.  Now in our 60’s (well, she is almost there) – we have been through it all together and I know I can share any of my thoughts or actions no matter how perverse they are without her passing judgment.  She lends her ear and shoulder without trying to ‘fix it’  LOVE YOU MY SISTER

Anytime I am with her we are in our own personal bubble. We really have no idea what is going on around us. It’s just us, being our true selves with one another. It’s a wonderful place, that bubble.
