{please visit Kaye Rachelle Designs here}

Oh, Mother Nature, you are running with this “Endless Summer” theme, aren’t you? With record temperatures (and electric bills) it hasn’t been too much of a stretch to think that summer is carrying on well into September – at least in this part of the world. It only seems fitting to celebrate the extra days of sunshine with outdoor entertaining and dinner parties. This month has been full of friends and parties and loved ones and delicious food and refreshing treats. All of this entertaining has inspired me to make the most of my home decor and really honor these celebrations.

Bonnie Kaye Whitfield and Susan Rachelle Dreifuss are the designers/creators behind Kaye Rachelle Designs. Blending a refined and chic aesthetic with modern and clean design, Kaye Rachelle Designs offers beautiful hand printed textiles for your home. Personally, I am in love with these Striped Tea Towels as well as the Subway Grate Placemats. But don’t be limited by my selections. Search through the shop to find your own essentials for this last hurrah of “Endless Summer.” You (and your home) will be so happy you did.

Kaye Rachelle Designs is giving away one Square Knot Linen Table Runner (printed in Navy on Oatmeal-colored Linen) to one lucky winner! To enter to win, please answer the following question by Tuesday, September 25th. Comments now closed…good luck!

    Electricity! I am sitting here with my laptop  plugged in, with a lamp on next to me, and a cup of coffee I made in the coffee maker.  All of which would be hard to accomplish if I didn’t have that magic electricity 🙂

    I am grateful that my husband is happy at work. He recently started a new job after spending far too long in a position he resented, at a company that actively abused its employees to the point of not one but several co-workers developing depression, in an industry he lost faith in. Seeing him come home happy from work every day makes me profoundly grateful for this new job of his.

    Right now I am grateful to have very supportive friends. I’m on the brink of making a proposal to my boss at work to change my job responsibilities, which is a big deal and has me really freaked out. My friends are cheering me on, reading my 5-page proposal, and helping me find comparable salaries. The worst he can say is no, and I won’t feel badly about looking for a new job, a process that is no fun, but through which my friends will also support me! Here goes nothing!
