{shop :: Facebook :: Twitter}

We all have our favorites, don’t we? The pieces that hang on our jewelry hooks (or in our jewelry boxes) that we reach for whenever we need to feel the most like ourselves. Often there is a bit of a hodge podge when it comes to the sources of these favorites. There might be a necklace from one designer, a bracelet from another. It isn’t very often that one finds a designer where every piece is something you want to own.

Michelle Starbuck Amos is one of those designers, friends. One of those designers where you can blindly point at the computer screen and hit order and you will be a happy camper. Considering I am in the middle of a love affair with bracelets right now, let me point you to the bracelet section of Michelle Starbuck Designs. See what I mean? The gorgeous charms up in our giveaway today are another piece that you will find yourself reaching for, no matter your outfit. Michelle Starbuck Designs is a one stop shop, folks.

I would define my style as… comfortable + casual.. with a dash of prep, sport and classic mixed in.. is that too much!? ha! I pride myself on the fact that the older I get.. the more comfortable I feel being MYSELF in the clothing and accessories that I wear. I pick items that I LOVE, not just like.. it’s been my motto for a few years 🙂 And hello, MSD are all items that I LOVE 🙂 Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Vintage with a twist of contemporary fashion. I love thrifting and reworking older materials.  My day to day basics includes Levi skinny jeans, Vans or Madden boots, and cute top (blouse, sweater or basic tshirt).  For special nights (like an opening reception for an exhibition!) is something along the lines of my vintage red wiggle skirt and black sheer blouse, with peep-toe heels.  😉

i tend to use the terms “endearingly awkward” and “punk rock’s well behaved little sister” to describe my style.

    ELIZA ELLIOT says:

I’d say my style is a little classic and vintage….I like clean lines but really favor lace and softer colors and fabrics. So I’d like to think it’s like Kate Middleton meats Grace Kelly. =) I know …. a person can dream though.

I like ALL kinds of jewelry and combine silver with gold, shiny with older aged metals, and consider “anything goes”.   As long as they have some bling somewhere, I’m good!

  11. 11
    Samantha S says:

Largely based on neutral cardigans and brightly colored or interesting scarves. I call it “grad school chic”.

    Lauren P says:

Feminine tomboy accented with vintage, gifted, and/or hand-crafted jewelry. Plus, being in Michigan, I’m always appropriately dressed for the winter snow.

    Jasanna says:

I would define my style as comfortable classy with a bit of indie.

    Courtney J says:

Solid color cardigan, jeans, and sneakers. That is how I dress when I want to feel most comfortable when teaching. Sometimes it’s paired with a necklace or brooch. I like wearing the cardigan because I can take it off if it gets too warm in the classroom. Sneakers are great because they can get dirty, which sometimes happens in an art classroom. Jeans because I’m constantly on my feet! I need to be able to move!

    Holly says:

I’d say its Bohemian preppy. I’m drawn to fun flowing tops and anthropologie style dresses, but end up more of gap prep style in skinny jeans, cardi, layered tops and boots.

fuss-free, classic and maybe slightly preppy? i’m trying to move away from my mum’s sense of style (which is also very neutral but rather corporate) because she says i dress too old for my age, so moving more towards simple coordinates like neutral sweaters and cardis, column maxi skirts and grey dresses but with the occasional bright pop of colour (eg. bright blue hoodie i just bought on sale from banana republic!) to remind myself that i’m still 21 years old and not my mum’s age!

    Robin Nielsen says:

What you wear is a good indication of how you feel each day! I dress to make myself happy and that means comfort on the bottom ( jeans or leggings) and fun on the top (a soft long tunic in a yummy color or a classic white shirt with interesting detailing). And my favorite part – choosing the perfect necklace or scarf to add some whimsy and personality:)

    Joana M says:

My style is clasic, lightly flirty, and with a unique taste in jewelry and shoes. I love owning one of a kind accessories.
Accessories is the final touch to any outfit in my eyes.

    Joren Robles says:

My style is quirky and comfy. I love things with a story. I’m a sucker for sentiment and cherish all family treasures. Eclectic!

    Jenni says:

I would love to say that I wear soft skirts and luxurious comfortable fabrics in fashionable shapes… but I work in a law firm, so a lot of the time i’m just trying to look professional enough to blend in with all of the attorneys while still keeping small nods to my graphic designer/dreamer spirit. Bold prints partner with black pants and I have fun with jewelry as much as I can while keeping it chic and buttoned up 🙂

    Charlotte D. says:

When I go out I would say simple and elegant.  At home, simple and comfortable.  In the bedroom, flirty.

  22. 22
    Stefanie says:

1/2 somber, 1/2 cutesy. I wear a lot of simple black clothing when I’m not wearing floral dresses.

  23. 23
    sam says:

Classic with a hint of whimsy every now and then.

    debbie jackson says:

    as “very jenn”

    Sparrow says:

Geez. Right now I’m 8 months pregnant, so I try to fit into whatever will cover my massive belly (I put my body on the altar of motherhood and am now feeling like an elephant. You’re welcome progeny!). When my body is mine, I love to dress simply. I don’t like to layer a lot, so I pick comfortable, striking pieces that aren’t fussy. I love to add a pop with jewelry. In my jewelry is where I find I really refine and highlight my style. I love that you find these pieces in old warehouses!

  28. 28
    Bridget says:

Simple and understated, but likes a pop of color

    cindy says:

I guess i would have to define my style as “random”. There are just certain things I see and love, but they never seem to have any rhyme or reason to them.  The nice part about this is that i never have to worry if something will fit my style or not!

  32. 32
    Coral M. says:

Contemporary with a dash of punk!!

  33. 33
    Karen Muehlfeld says:

My style is casual and like to stay up to date. My collection is small so I enjoy wearing the same jewelry for different occasions. I do love the unique, handmade jewelry like yours! Not trying to bribe you! Ha!

  34. 34
    Jena Ardell says:

    summery + 90s casual. 🙂

    Tiffany says:

My clothing tends to be classic while my accessories have most of the fun.

  36. 36
    REGAN says:

I suppose my style is a little bipolar: preppy for work & slouchy, bohemian casual during my time off.
