Does anyone else rearrange their artwork once the seasons change? Granted, the onset of fall signifies the beginning of the holiday season so there is room to be made to accommodate the festivities. During this time, cuts are made and artwork is swapped out. Much like bringing the cold weather clothes out of storage, there is a visual change up as well. What better time to introduce some fresh artists to add to your queue, don’t you think?
Laura Evans is the artist with impeccable taste behind the shops ooh pretty shiny and sweet dreams & honey. These aren’t your everyday snapshots. Rather, this is artistry. Fine art photography is a subjective business. Yet, Evans’ work transcends opinion and there is an element of pure and absolute beauty evident in every shot. The Ferris Wheel Fair Photo Print is light and bright, full of joy and stillness. And the Bubble Photo Print series is sublime, absolutely sublime. As you “Spring into Fall”, feet first, let us help guide you there visually. Let ooh pretty shiny light the way. Let sweet dreams & honey be your guide.

Don’t worry, be happy! (and try to drink lots of water, wear lots of sunscreen, and get lots of sleep).
To moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! When I was 12 years old I started using moisturizer on a daily basis. I didn’t have much need for it but my aunt said I would appreciate it in a few years. Now I have baby soft skin, an even complexion and my friends have often complimented my skin tone saying that they were often jealous throughout high school. I know that if I continue to moisturize I will have beautiful skin into my 90′s
(And of course, use a moisturizer with sunscreen)
LOVE your skin!
sleep!
Drink loooots of water! And avoid any chemicals.
Nobody pays as much attention to your face as you do…and they have their own faces to worry about! Don’t obsess.
don’t worry about what everyone else thinks, worry about what you can live with.
Don’t sleep with your make-up on.
Drink lots of water and of course smile…it always makes your face look pretty.
wear clothes that fit you properly! And wear sunscreen!
My mom told me growing up that people don’t realize how beautiful they really are. And it’s true. Once you’re several years down the road and past the insecurities and anxieties of the past you look back on photos of yourself and you can’t believe how lovely you really were, and are now.
stay out of the sun!!!! And it is so true,
I used to have horrible acne and my aunt one day advised me to use only things I would eat on my skin. Voila! my skin was healed! And to this day I still use only natural products on my skin. Bring on the avocado and oatmeal masks!
Not to use chemicals in your beauty products. Ask me in 50 years, but I think it’s good advice!
get out of the sun…i didn’t listen.
My dermatologist told me when I was in my 20s not to believe all the hype about beauty products. He said to keep my skin moisturized where needed and use sunscreen.
You are what you eat. So basic and so true.
To smile!
pile on the moisturizer!
sleep, H2O & sunscreen
Use moisturizer!
Smile!
Less is more! In high school I would pile the eyeliner on Cleopatra style. A more natural look can be nice on everyone!
Mom always told me to “cross that bridge when you get there” – to stop stressing about things that haven’t happened yet.
Never leave the house without lipstick on !!!!
To get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and drink lots of water.
smile, smile, smile!
Always, always, always wear sunscreen!
It may not seem like beauty advice, per se, but I know that every morning when I slather on SPF 55 under my makeup, I’m investing in a pretty wrinkle-free face 20 years from now!
That each of us is beautiful just by virtue of existing – the miracle of life is totally astounding. (Much harder to judge other’s (or your own) superficial looks when taking a moment to remember we are each an amazing work of art/science/magic!)
To always wash your face before bed. And wear sunscreen. In short, take care of your skin.
Start taking good care of your skin at an early age, and always wear sunscreen…even on an overcast day!
Skip the makeup.
“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” -Audrey Hepburn
That the wrinkles and lines on our faces tell the story of who we are and where we’ve been. They shouldn’t be hidden or covered up because they represent the journey we are all on together as people – beauty in our flaws.

Be happy! There isn’t any powder for you face, or magic elixir to drink or wonder pill to pop or special food to eat that can create the natural radiance coming from someone who is generally happy~*
I think a smile goes a long way towards making you beautiful. My natural, resting face is kind of grouchy (without meaning to, honest!), but when I am in the kind of good mood that I can’t help but reflect through a smile, without even thinking about it, I feel my whole face relax and shine. I don’t have the prettiest smile, with some goofy teeth and prominent gums, but I still feel best when I’m smiling!
Moisturize, and… don’t pick spots!
Just smile and be yourself.
Drink lots of H20 and smile!!
Don’t chew on your nails! (and wear lots of sunscreen, dearie!)
The most beautiful thing you can wear is your own worthiness: it matches everything else in your closet, and it still fits if you put on 10 pounds.
Eyelash curlers work wonders upon wonders.
