{please visit Sheer Addiction Jewelry here}

Surely the weather doesn’t have to dictate everything, yes? Maybe it is just me, but there seems to be such an unmistakable link between the air outside and the jewelry I put on. Case in point: now that fall is starting to show her true colors, I find myself scouring online stores for baubles and chains. Windows with accessories curated ever so carefully beckon from the street. I find my skin feels cold without some sort of adornment. Silly? Perhaps. But there it is.

Sheer Addiction Jewelry first wins on name alone. (I love a little truth in advertising.) Second, please take a moment to look around the shop and tell me you don’t feel more elegant, glamorous, bejeweled. This is the type of jewelry that can handle fall, you know what I mean? Designer Tamara Schafhauser elevates jewelry design into wearable art that speaks of eras past, mysterious luxury, and unique finds that no one else will be wearing. My fall collection includes the Marlo Necklace, the Parker Necklace, and the San Francisco Trio. What about you?

Sheer Addiction Jewelry is giving away one Ashley Bracelet to one lucky winner! To enter to win, please answer the following question by Tuesday, October 23rd. Comments now closed…good luck!

I’ve always called my personal style mood dressing– I base my look on whatever I feel like that day.  Sometimes preppy, sometimes classic, sometimes bohemian, sometimes retro– anything goes.  My closet is my wonderland!

My personal style can’t be defined. I dress how I feel. It could be preppy one day, boho another, laid back the next…it just depends on the day.

    April C. says:

I like to dress more casual, but definitely feminine.  That’s why it’s important to have great accessories!  And I’m the type to love to wear different jewelry that you don’t normally see with mixed metals and charms.  That is my style and personality!

    Regan says:

I like to think of my style as a series of costumes: “buttoned up professor,” “looks younger than she is because she’s so nonchalant,” “breezy cowgirl,” “Greek goddess.”

Modern, twists of bohemian, office chique and of course the beloved yoga pants after a days work and sporty.

I have different “styles” on different days, depending on how I’m feeling. But I would have to say that “vintage” always suits me. 🙂

I like to juxtapose my outfit — if I’m wearing a sort of manly chambray shirt, I’ll pair it with something girly like cute leather boots & a bangle (like today’s outfit!). Also, always comfortable 🙂 aka NO heels.

    Gali says:

I think my style is mostly dictated by the fact that I am on my bike a lot. I bring a change of clothes to work every morning so I usually pick something that doesn’t take a lot of space in my backpack and amazingly above-the-knee skirts are tiny when bundled up, depending on what top they’re put with the final look can either be professional or relaxed.

    Nikki says:

My personal style is feminine with a bit of a rocker edge to it.  I believe in attention to detail (nails trimmed short and groomed, if not polished a dark color) and ALWAYS jewelry but only interesting & personal pieces.  Hair shiny and long, but messy, with beachy waves or bedhead bouncy, never brushed smooth.  I love to wear black converse with sundresses or boots and jeans with a lacy, flowy top. Black mascara and some eyeliner (black, blue, olive green, purple–I love it all!), big sunglasses, and perfume!

My personal style? Stay-at-home-Mom : )   Though this would be a great addition to my outfit when I get dressed up and go out – to the pediatricians, the pharmacy, the library, the grocery store, etc…

    Christina P says:

My style is comfortable with minimal trendiness. I prefer to buy used clothes as opposed to new, plus used is so much more affordable. But there are some things I like to buy new if they are nicely on sale!

I’m pretty much “Boho casual.” I love my jeans…don’t try to take those away from me! And I wish I could have come of age during the years of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, not to mention Joni Mitchell. Besides, who wants to wear a BRA?!?

  29. 29
    Ellen says:

Unique and different every single day! I love colors, and am really inspired by color combinations rather than the make and cut of clothes, although I love specific styles of clothing as well! I don’t fit into a single box 🙂

    Rebekah says:

my own…trends can only take you so far and they come and go so i prefer to find my own style and wear it with as much confidence as possible. i look up to those who take fashion risks – i tend towards playing it safe…maybe safer than i should sometimes.

  43. 43
    Ali H says:

Beach-y euro boho/nerd chic. I have moderately long blonde hair so when I don’t do anything to it, I get the beach waves look. I tend to wear looser fitting blouses matched with tighter bottoms to balance out my pear shape. I go for a lot of stripes and nautically inspired looks, or anything with a French-type euro flair. I will never be caught without earrings and at least three bracelets. Top it off with the skeleton engineer watch (shows the inner mechanisms) that I always wear and glasses that I wear 99% of the time (much more comfortable than contacts) and it gives me the “geek chic” look.

    Christy Ann says:

My personal style is fashion conscious and trendy, but only up to the point where I can still be comfortable – both physically and mentally – and can be as active as I need to with chasing my toddler around. I’ve always tended towards boho style, and very girly.

    Sydney VH says:

My personal style is an ever-changing component in my life. When I discover a pair of Ecuadorean pants, a faded vintage top, or a chunky coral necklace, it changes me and my style. Something cannot stay stagnent because complacency is death. Change is my personal style.
