{shop :: Facebook}

There is one accessory I consider an absolute essential: sunglasses. I am one of those people who absolutely MUST have sunglasses on my person at all times and feel completely vulnerable and naked if I don’t. Maybe it is environmental. Growing up in Southern California, then Hawaii, then back to SoCal, sunglasses are a necessity. Although, as a general rule, I don’t wear them indoors. Mostly. Regardless, my love for sunglasses is deep rooted and I am especially fond of mixing it up with style and color. I tend to go for the inexpensive frames and only own one pair of designer glasses that were a gift and I get a little stressed when I wear them because I’m afraid I’m going to lose them. Lost sunglasses is a recipe for disaster.

Oh, Stunner of the Month, you genius company you. The premise is simple: you subscribe for $9 a month and you receive a fresh, new pair of sunglasses EVERY MONTH! You know those funky frames you really want to try but don’t want to spend $25 on? (Seriously, when did drugstore glasses get so darn expensive?) Take the stress out of the situation. Let the style ninjas behind the scenes at Stunner of the Month “…change the way you see —  and the way people see you.” Challenge accepted.

Stunner of the Month is giving away 3 x 6 month subscriptions to 3 lucky winners (one each!) To enter to win, please answer the following question no later than Tuesday, May 21st.  Comments now closed…good luck!
Please visit Stunner of the Month and tell us: What is your dream monthly subscription? As in, if you were to make a subscription “bundle”, what would you want shipped to you along with your stunners?

I’d want something new every month — chocolate one month, makeup the next, office goods the next, and so on.

Lip Balm. Because I always lose it, and because when you’re wearing fabulous stunners, you’ve gotta emphasize the lips!

FRESH FLOWERS ! I Love fresh flowers on my desk, dining room table, kitchen, living room and bedroom ~  bringing the outdoors inside. I have a husband with an amazing green thumb and he does his best to keep me happy with his garden delights but some times during the year the roses get cut back and the other beautiful creations of nature lie dormant

A slip of paper containing the code to download a playlist of awesome tunes every month. Each month’s theme could be based on the stunner style it is packaged with. Then you could play your new tunes whenever you’re wearing your new Stunners. What a fun and simple way to find more great music.

I just moved to the middle of nowhere Oklahoma (I’m not being cute, there is nothing for miles and miles), so, if you could throw in some organic produce, I would be ecstatic eating my surprise passion fruit in the shade!

Oooh nail polish of the month club! How fun would that be?!

I’m a sucker for samples. I love everything about it; the great “fit in your purse” size, the cuteness of anything mini, and getting to try things out. I love samples of makeup, skin products, perfume, even snacks.

Hmm, my dream monthly subscription bundle would include some sort of salted chocolate, a tote bag, a mix tape, & a cute pair of shades. . .

A girl can dream can’t she?

My dream monthly subscription would be for workout DVDs and lunches-to-go. I always get tired of my workouts after a few weeks so a subscription (much like the Tracy Anderson Method) that is constantly changing up my workouts would be ideal for me: also, by getting my lunches prepared for me according to my own preferences (ie, tick twelve boxes for things you like and tick twelve boxes for things you do not like and give the provider a sense for how active you are and thus how many calories you need) would make sure I don’t keep eating the same boring sandwiches from the same boring sandwich place for lunch.

Living in a new city dominated by a metro system, I have found myself more and more lost in a book riding the rickety tunnels to and from work. Despite the fact of being surrounded by so many people, this is really the only time of the day that I feel completely alone: me and the words of a book, and being completely content with that. And because of that, my dream subscription would be a new, under-appreciated, maybe forgotten book once a month. Books need love too.

As a single Mom to three amazing kids –  I would love a subscription to a service that would send someone to do the grocery shopping (and put it all away), cook, clean, do laundry, iron, run errands, make beds, etc…

    Noma says:

Oh, my answer came much to easily: Snackage. This is, assorted snackage. I don’t know who doesn’t like to try new snack foods. I’d like a mix of both fancy snacks, like bacon-crusted Belgian-chocolate Himalayan popcorn (if ever there is such a glorious thing) one month, and nutella in a spray can another month.

What a great idea! I would love to do this with regular prescription glasses as well. I get sick of the same old frames but have to limit myself to replacing once a year when I get my eye exams!

I’d love to receive a small “bundle” of art supplies…like a small tube of watercolor (or acrylic paint), a small canvas, a couple brushes, something awesome you can add to the paint (glitter? little tiny beads? sand?), and a small slip of paper that gives suggestions on what you could paint.

What you create would be submitted back to the company (website?) so they could display them as a collection online.

Chapstick! I am obsessed, but am always losing them. It would be nice to have a steady stream of them arriving in my mailbox.

  24. 24
    Regan says:

I would love earrings! I’m pretty adventurous, but there are some styles I wouldn’t necessarily buy in the store but would try if they came in the mail. The bigger and wilder the better!!

    Michelle says:

Oooh, I love the flip flops idea!

    Elizabeth says:

My first thought was slim poetry volumes (nerdy), my second was bicycles (too hard to ship), but ultimately I’ve settled on tea. (Can you tell I’m a graduate student in Oregon?)

    Tiffany says:

I have a chapstick thing.. I’m obsessed…..I have them all over the house, in every bag, in the car, at my desk at work….I could never have too many. So a monthly, new fun flavor would be so much fun! My favorite these days is an Earl Grey flavor. Something about it feels luxurious!

    Rinny says:

All different kinds of glow sticks!! When I was growing up, summer was all about spending time outdoors – so always having a pair of sunnies was a necessity – and nighttime was allocated to swimming in the pool and breaking glow sticks in the pitch dark. Who DOESN’T love a glow stick?!

  29. 29
    Nicole Balogh says:

Nail polish! I love to change my polish frequently and would love to get a new color every month!

  30. 30
    Michelle Elizabeth says:

If I were making the packages I’d send out themed items (probably something to snack on, and something to wear) with each set of stunners. Like in July I’d send out stunners, a pack of gum and sparklers, and in November I’d send out stunners, hot coco and ear muffs!

    Madeline says:

Fabulous stunners definitely need a fun shade of nailpolish to go with them, or even to horribly, beautifully clash.
