Is there a better gift to receive than gorgeous stationary? Surely I am not in the minority for thinking that a set of letterpress note cards or a well designed monthly planner are the bees knees. Truth be told, I have been known to horde my stash of beautiful paper goods because they carry far too great a value. It is something I have been working on in recent years (because, really, how does hoarding paper honor it?) That being said, I am always on the lookout for new brands and new beautiful paper goods. After all, out with the old…in with the new!
Today we are so excited to introduce you to Sugar and Type. Graphic designer Ilana Zatkowsky channels her creativity into gorgeous letterpress that is sure to make it to the top of your list of paper goods you simply must own. And the Rule the World planner is smart looking enough that I think it might actually give me the ability to do just that. A well organized ruler is, of course, a good one. If you want to give the absolute perfect gift this year, look no further than Sugar and Type. You’re welcome.

Rein-dear card and to my husband
I like the Make a Wish cards.
I would send this to my siblings.
There is so much potential in it.
I love the HedgeHug card. I would send it to my best friend from high school, who I don’t see nearly often enough.
i love the Hot Shit card! would send it to my niece who is in grad school.
Truly? Anything with llamas. And it would go to my best friend Heather, as we had lived in Ecuador together and “Como te llamas” may or may not a very hysterical inside joke…
Oh my gosh, I have always been a huge fan of llamas–after all my name starts with L and they’re kind of my…uh…spit–i mean SPIRIT animal!! I’d go for the mistletoe llamas card and send it to my bf in Arkansas.
Awww the hedgehug card is so cuuuuuuuuute! I’d send it to my best friend at school whom I’m missing over the break! <3
I love the Make A Wish card! I would give it to my husband, to remind him to keep positive and always have dreams and goals for the future that we can aspire to.
Oh it’s gotta be one of the llama cards! I have a friend who adores llamas, so it would go straight to her.
))
I must get the Hot Shit card for my husband! Our dog looks just like the one on the card and he’s the pooper scooper in our family!
the reindeer cards are cute. we are currently a little obsessed with deer and forest themes around here. Definitely would go to my daughter
How can you not adore Llama Love!? You look at those cuties smooching and just smile! I would write a love note to my hubby and hide it somewhere for him to randomly find.
I love the planner – it looks so well organized!
My fave cards are the llamas in love. I am a huge animal lover and always “make” my boyfriend look at videos and photos of animals with me, so I’d send it to him. Probably at work and hope he gets a little embarrassed (in a good way)!
My favorite card is “Hot Shit” because it cracks me up to have an appropriate way to say “bad words” and I would send it to my sister who would also get a kick out of it–plus she is a dog trainer so it is doubly fitting! Love it!!
oh it would have to be the llama llove card! i lllooovveee llamas and it would be so funny to give my husband that card for valentine’s day!
My favorite card is the Rein-dear, I would send it to my aunt…I love the silhouette of the gold reindeer.
I love the Oye to the World! I always say “OY!” (I use it in various situations ranging from pleased to angry to teasing). The card is a cute play on tradition, which never gets old (geddit? haha).
Hot $hit! that is so funny! I have one friend who would enjoy this and would probably die laughing when I sent it! That would be great.
My favorite is make a wish card and i would send it to my family .I will not be able to spend the holidays with them this year because of work.
I would send the “Great Pair” with the pears on it to my pen pal in Australia. We met in San Francisco by random chance, and in 24 hours we somehow became best friends just because our personalities compliment one another so well. Sadly after we had to part ways to go back to our homes on opposite sides of the globe, but we’ve kept in touch since then and write each other regulary, so I think it is fitting… and I think he would enjoy the pun
I would send the “Oye to the World” card to my best friend who lives too far away these days. I miss seeing her and I know she’d love this card. Thank you for the chance!
I’d send the hedgehug card to one of my best friends from chiro. school.
[...] 1. a set of note cards, note pad and a calendar from Sugar and Type :: 2. a personalized bracelet from Persona [...]
My favorite is the great pair card. I would send it to my boyfriend!
I love the “You are Here” card. I would send it to my cousin who is in Afghanistan and struggling to find herself. We were roommates in college and she’s always been my best friend, and I just want her to know that I love her and that I am here for her always.
My favorite is the Hedge-Hug card. I’d send it to all my friends.
I love the Hedge-Hug… I would send it to my sister <3
Love the Hedge-Hug – would send it to my daughter who is studying in England.
the hedgehug card is adorable! i would send it to my close friends studying overseas since i can’t hug them over skype conversations. alternatively i would send one to the bestie who studies in the same university as me but doesn’t like physical hugs. maybe she’ll prefer a hedgehug instead
I love the llama mistletoe card and I would send it to my significant other!
I love the HedgeHug card and i’d send it to my grandma with all my love and “Hog”
Gotta love the llamas respecting the mistletoe. I would leave one out for my husband to find.
Hot shit!
I love the hedge-hug cards! Super cute!!!
I would totally send the hedge-hug cards to my favorite bloggy friends! Sharing the love for sugar and type with all!
I’d send the “great pair” card to my sister simply to tease her about us both being PEAR shaped (a good thing : )).
It’s not in the current card selection, but the rooster card in the sold area is perfect for my little sister! She has a secret wish to own a small farm and have chickens and roosters, so I know she’d be amused. (Also, if I won this prize, I’d pass the planner straight onto her. I already have my planner for 2013, but the layout and inclusion of the inspiration quotes and weekly goals fields would be perfect for her. She runs a food bank network so she has TONS of things to accomplish every week, but she’d need that space to daydream and prioritize, too!)
Love the Great Pear card! I would send it to my Mom & Stepdad for their anniversary next month.
The Hedge-Hug.
I would give it to my friend who is also temporarily my roommate. Life keeps hitting her on the chin and she’s been doing her best to “bob and weave” to avoid those hits. This would be a reminder to not only keep ducking but that I’m in her corner not only rooting for her but also offering a cold drink and a hug.
I would get the “Hot Shit” card and send it right back to Ilana. Cause her work is ‘hot shit’ obvi!
I would give great pair to my daughter and son to be son in law for their engagement. I would also great pair to my friends who have gone through breast cancer. I know that everyone else sees it a different way -. Hot shit is the one that makes me laugh the most. Everyone needs one!!!
