Do you take the time to celebrate? We aren’t talking about holidays, anniversaries, birthdays. Rather, we are talking about the details, the minutiae, the little things. Do you celebrate the good days and honor the tiny, great moments? Let’s make a pact to do more celebrating this year, shall we? It’s Tuesday? Celebrate! Invite friends over, tell them each to bring a dessert, create a signature cocktail (or mocktail, as the case may be) and celebrate Tuesday. It’s the perfect way to honor our new selves, don’t you think?

Rebecca Ashby, the creative genius behind The Pink Orange, uses her talent to design luxury stationary for weddings and other events.  Spend some time browsing the ‘Couture’ section and tell me you aren’t tempted to plan a wedding. This past year, Ashby launched Celebrations, her line of party goods that bring that extra something to every event in your life. (Fitting name, yes?) The vision of The Pink Orange is something that inspires us to bring the best of ourselves to the surface at all times:

To us, luxury means creating exquisite designs with details pulled from the beauty and inspiration of the everyday.”

Luxury as dictated by the everyday. Tuesday is shaping up quite nicely, don’t you think?

The Pink Orange is giving away one set of Stir Sticks and matching Coasters (in winners’ choice) PLUS a $25 gift certificate to TWO lucky winners! To enter to win, please answer the following question no later than Tuesday, January 29th. Comments now closed…good luck!

Imagine you are throwing a party and you can invite any three people in the world (and they will be there!) What party goods from The Pink Orange are you ordering and…who are you inviting?

Start checking the winner’s box on Monday, February 4th, to see if you’ve won!

I would keep it clean and simple with the silver Chevron coasters and stir sticks. and I would invite Jen Garner, Ben Affleck, and Victor Garber–I know they all know each other, so that would make it less awkward (for them!) ;).

Oooh, I’ve gotta go for the chevron coasters in grey, and the striped straws in yellow and teal! It would be a bachelorette party for my bestie and I’d invite all our closest friends!

    Theresa says:

I would order the dotty gold coasters and stir sticks, as well as the black striped straws.

Tempting as it would be to invite famous people, having moved so far away from home I would love to have my 3 best friends (2 in south Florida and 1 in Michigan) over for a night of drunken crafting! Getting all 3 over at the same time would truly be a once in a lifetime thing…

I assuming that we can include anyone in the world, living or dead. I can still remember my great grandmother from when I was a little girl and since she has passed, I’ve heard stories about her that make me wish I could talk with her as an adult, like the time she was hunting deer with my grandfather, a deer ran across her path, she shot at it (she wasn’t a great shot), and downed him by shooting him right in the bum (I mean, RIGHT in the bum. There wasn’t even a shot mark). Anyway, I want to invite her and my two living grandmothers who I adore and wish lived close to me. We would place our tea cups on the dotty coasters, set a dainty table with the scallop edge place cards, and I would send them home with cookies to nibble on during the ride home housed in the chevron classic box.

I really like the Dotty pattern so I would probably plan a gold and pink themed party around it. All about the champagne and glitter.

Who to invite is a harder question. At first I was thinking some of my favorite celebrities would be fun…Neil Patrick Harris, Cate Blanchett and Patrick Stewart. But then I realized that it would make me so much happier if I could just have my sisters (one of whom lives very far away and I miss her desperately). That would make an awesome party!

I would invite Martha Stewart, Q. Tarantino and Anna Dello Russo. I would have the dotty coasters in gold, the Chevron pillow box and classic box in green.

I’d have a literary party: I’d invite Jane Austen, Charlote Bronte, and Lucy Montgomery. Naturally I’d invite them over for tea. So I’d need coasters and stir sticks. I think they’d all appreciate an modern chic update to tea, so I’d order the two items in gold chevron.

I would order the striped straws in every color for the cocktails.
I would invite, Tom Colicchio (to prepare the food,) Louis CK (to entertain,) and my daughter to enjoy it with me.

I’d love to have a girls night party and I would invite Ree Drummond (the Pioneer Woman), Kelly Ripa and my best friend Jenny. I’d use the speech bubble cupcake toppers and chevron coasters!

    Nikki says:

I want to host a fabulous cocktail party and I want to invite Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren & Elizabeth Taylor and watch them enjoy themselves and the other guests. Seeing these women dolled up, laughing, drinking, flirting, and getting to socialize with them would be so fun! Dotty stir sticks and Dotty coasters would be perfect for this sort of playful and glamorous evening! (I think I would also use the “eat, drink, and be married” cocktail napkins–and that would lead to some fantastic and knowing remarks about men and marriage from those famous ladies!)

    Ella P. says:

I’ll order the chevron coasters & the hot pink striped paper straws.
wanna throw a cocktail party with these gorgeous ladies,  Bar Refaeli, Gisele Bundchen & Jennifer Lawrence. 😀

    svh says:

I would like each guest to have their own colored party straw, to make it interesting: yellow, pink, teal, and green.

As for my 3 guests, I would like them to be from completely different walks of life, but have something to talk about: to see them interact. One from each of my life’s interests: Jesus for spirituality, Walt Disney for creativity, and Harriet Tubman for female strength and courage. And wine to ease those silent pauses, should there be any.

  15. 15

I’d love Ina Garten, my bff, and Tina Fey present! I would definitely have some of those dotty gold coasters on hand!

  16. 16
    Dana J. says:

It would be me and my three best friends.  I recently moved and their thousands of miles away.  I’d be ecstatic to have a party with them.  And we’d drink Habanero Pineapple Sodas on Gold Chevron Coasters!

  17. 17
    Tiffany says:

Our party would include the dotty stir sticks and coasters because they remind me of bubbly and that is our drink of choice! Let’s just have a bubbly themed party. And when I say “our” I mean my soul friends and I. These girls are my heart! There are three of us, so I would let us each select a guest of honor. My selection would be Michael Buble and I’d ask him ever so nicely to sing at our party while we sip our champagne.

  18. 18
    Jac says:

I would invite Tina Fey and Amy Polher for good girl talk and giggles and Jon Hamm for some eye candy and to mix our drinks. I have a feeling he can work a cocktail shaker like nobody’s business. Obviously we would then need the gold dotty stir sticks and gold chevron coasters to class up our booze party.

    Madeline says:

chevron stir sticks & dotty coasters in gold! and i would invite pastor tom from uganda, because he makes me laugh, my grandma, because she makes me feel good, and my nephew brandon, because he would just be tickled pink.

    Brittany K says:

i’d invite Chipper Jones (Atlanta Braves player), Luke Bryan and my grandfather. My grandfather was my hero and fellow Braves fan – it would be the happiest moment of my life to see him again with a Braves lengend. And then Luke Bryan cause he’s hot. I’d get Eat, Drink and Be Married napkins, Blue Striped Paper Straws and Dotty Coasters in gold.

    Trish says:

I’m not sure I would invite anyone famous. Instead, I would have three people over who I owe a big thank you to: A high school teacher from many years ago, whose encouraging words I will never forget. My mom, who has turned out to be my best friend. And, a young, local, injured Afghan war vet, whose strength, bravery and pride has inspired me in so many ways.

I would throw together a summer cookout, complete with fun paper striped straws and paper garland.

  22. 22
    Kate B says:

I would invite Tina Fey and Amy Poehler because both women seem to know a lot about grace and hard work and following your dreams, besides seeming riotously funny. The third person I’d invite would be my absolute best friend in the world, who I know would appreciate meeting such lovely women as much as I would!

Obviously we’d have to have pretty silver chevron party goods. (I would be tempted by the dotty ones, but I dislike gold and they don’t seem to be available in silver.)

    kim g says:

I would invite….The Dali Lama…Maya Angelou, and…my bff Susie…. They each would be invited by a personal invite….we would be using the heart stirrers and coasters… and the paper flower garland would be on the table in the garden. What a gathering that would be….sitting and discussing what our purpose is here in this world we live in, the writings that have touched my heart since I was young… and how to stay calm and focused when life feels like its moving by so quickly…
