Giveaway :: The Taylor Bag

{shop :: Facebook}

Once spring hits, I find myself revamping the accessories department in my wardrobe. My wardrobe itself tends to simplify and since the majority of my time is spent outdoors in the spring, I tend to use this as a reason to adorn myself before leaving the house. Spring is all about the flourish, after all.

Taylor Casey started The Taylor Bag after transitioning from the corporate world to working from home. Utilizing her inherent creativity and passion for design, The Taylor Bag became the impetus for making other women feel as unique and beautiful through fashion. The best-selling infinity scarves are the perfect springtime accessory (can we talk about my love affair with infinity scarves?!?) and the bags themselves are whimsical and elegant and truly one of a kind. This, my friends, is the flourish.

The Taylor Bag is giving away one Infinity Scarf and one Wristlet (my faves are pictured above) to one lucky winner! To enter to win, please answer the following question no later than Wednesday, April 10th. *Open to US residents only!*Comments now closed…good luck!
Please visit The Taylor Bag and tell us: What is your go-to accessory and how does it make you feel?
Start checking the winner’s box on Monday, April 15th, to see if you’ve won!

    My favorite accessory is my diamond stud earrings.  They are simple, understated, and go with ANYTHING!  I never have to take them off no matter what I’m wearing (and I don’t…..ever)  I love them!

    loving the polka dot infinity scarf!

    earrings used to be my favourite accessory, but now i think white teeth are an essential “accessory” to brighter smiles 🙂 i’ve been using a whitening toothpaste that’s really effective (it’s so effective that i’m constantly smiling in reflective surfaces all the time just to keep checking if my teeth have really become whiter :p)

    I have a silver dove necklace that I get tons of compliments on. the silver is starting to wear off to the bronzey color underneath but I still love it and wear it everywhere. I’m a gramma and so style lately seems to be in the back ground!

    Definitely my skeleton watch (it doesn’t have a face, so you can see all the gears and moving clockworks). I’m an engineer and a woman with a penchant for design; I love how my watch seems to capture all of that. It’s fascinating to watch all the parts move and think that the clock was first invented such a long time ago. That truly amazes me. The real beauty of it is in the mechanisms. And it doesn’t hurt that it keeps me on time too!

    My superhero necklace! Facing out it is just a really pretty silver swirly necklace, but on the back is the word “superhero”. I love the reminder and the way it makes me feel when things get tough!

    My “go-to” accessory is this flowing long pink scarf which such fine detailed work stitched into it. My friend bought it for me while she was doing service work in India. It makes me feel comfortable: I wear it Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, seriously. It also makes me feel fashionable: I wear a lot of basic, earthy tones, so it gives a nice splash of color to just about anything I wear. But, most importantly, considering where it came from and why my friend was over there, wearing the scarf makes me feel connected with a completely different side of the world. I love it!

    I hardly consider it an accessory because it is always on my finger, but my wedding ring makes me feel intimately connected to my husband, my children, and to God. It helps me remember the significance of my vows and that I need God’s grace to be the best wife, mother, and disciple I can be. Not to mention, because I have two boys: a wild 3-year old and 1.5-year old, I am constantly the unfortunate canvas for various food smears, dirt smudges, and art project catastrophes, so it’s nice to have at least one thing that is shiny and beautiful!

    I am not sure makeup qualifies as an accessory but a slash of bright lipgloss is my to-go accessory for any event, any outfit, any weather, any day.

    My go-to accessory would have to be my mothers necklace. My mother gave me her old jewelry box full of costume jewelry, and I love all of the pieces in there, but my favorite is a long chain necklace with a big ‘J’ charm on it (my mother’s name is JeanEllen). My name doesn’t start with a ‘J’ but I love it all the same.

    My go to accessory is my white studded pearl earrings.  They are big pearls that can go with any outfit.  It’s nice because they can be very classy and cute at the same time.  No matter what I’m  wearing they always go with it and add a bit of elegance to my outfit.

    My go-to accessory is one of my brooches, which is of a small map of Paris with a heart placed in the center. The map is from the actual map, and I like wearing it with jackets and sweaters. People always ask me about it!

    A tiny gold locket I found once in my grandmother’s basement. It used to be my mom’s when she was younger. It’s delicate and goes with everything-it makes me feel easily put-together and a classic kind of feminine.

    I’ve been wearing my dad’s watch since he passed away in January. It’s a cheap black plastic Timex – not stylish and def not cool. But I love wearing it. It reminds me of him and it reminds me what’s important.

    My new favorite accessory is a gorgeous silver wrap bangle from Britta Ambauen I won from the Bright Side Project last month! I didn’t think it was really my style, but I really connected with the question and answered it with gusto and I got chosen. Since receiving the bracelet, I’ve worn it nearly every day and I’m so in love with it. It’s reminding me to be brave and go after my dreams and make changes for myself!

    My go to accessory is my Britton bead bracelet.  I always get compliments on it, and I also can use the beads on a chain and make a necklace.  When I travel, it’s easy to switch things up by changing beads so I don’t have to take as much with me.  And of course, it isn’t as expensive as Pandora!  I would love to have one of those infinity scarves.

    I’ve had tiny diamond earrings in my ears since I was 10 (22 years now!). They were a gift from my dad on my birthday. He told me that they were a symbol of how much he loved me. My mom had her wedding ring and I (his only daughter) had these earrings. When he gave them to me I felt so special and so grown up!! I’ve only taken them off to be cleaned.

    My go to accessory is a scarf because if my neck is warm, my whole body is warm.  And they look great!
