I am a sucker for simple. Granted, I adore some fancy ornate bedazzlement from time to time. But give me the option for what makes me feel the most beautiful and I will choose simple every single time. This isn’t to say I like plain. Or boring. Or forgettable. There is an art to creating simple without losing chic, without forgetting sophistication. It is, in fact, more complicated than one might think.
Tiny Armour, created by Los Angeles based designer Angi Glenn-Quincy, is the physical manifestation of perfect simplicity. Taking inspiration from architecture, textiles, geometry and the magic of mid-century modern design, Glenn-Quincy creates the type of jewelry that becomes the staple upon which you depend. Trying to pick a favorite piece is like asking me to pick a favorite child (as in, I’ll point you to all of them, physically unable to choose.) Let’s try this or this. Or this. This. And two of these (one for each child, of course.) Sigh. Tiny Armour. Simple modern adornment, indeed.
