Spring brings out the hair lover in me. There is something about the shift from cool to warm (yet before the real heat hits) that absolutely begs for me to let my hair down, both literally and metaphorically speaking. With bare feet and the wind in my hair, it feels like life is suddenly full of youth and hope and possibility and I find myself thinking about things like evening walks and fresh squeezed lemonade and…hair ties. Full disclosure: I have a six month old baby. I cannot go for longer than five minutes with my hair down. Metaphorically, yes. Literally, no.
Jessica Frandson created Twistband out of necessity: the same necessity of keeping hair away from the mouths (and hands) of babes. The thing is, though, hair ties hurt. And they leave bumps in your hair. And they always get lost in the bottom of bags. Twistband hair ties are genius little inventions that solve all of the above problems. They don’t catch and tug, they are gentle enough to take out and still look like you intended to have your hair down all day, and they are pretty enough to wear on your wrist. (That’s a triple win, by the way.) For those of you out there without long tresses, don’t fret. Twistband also offers headbands that can be customized (I loved headbands when I had pixie hair, just sayin.) And let’s not forget my absolute FAVORITE: stretchy shoelaces! Those yellow ones are seriously calling my name. Head to toe, Twistband is there when you want let your hair down and still keep it up.
Twistband is giving away three (3!) Twistband Club subscriptions (that’s one whole year of Twistbands delivered to your door!) to three lucky readers.
