Giveaway :: Vivien Frank
As our month of the Three R’s draws to a close, let’s focus on remembering what it is about spring that makes it so darn special. One aspect of spring that I think makes this season rise a tad above the others is the reawakening of our best selves, in relation to one another. The simple act of acknowledging the sunshine, the simplicity of the blue sky, and the reemergence of the tiniest blooms works on both a literal and a figurative level. From our friendships to our personal styles, spring is all about what makes us who we are. It is about honoring and celebrating our reawakening. And what better way to celebrate than by surrounding ourselves with simple beauty on a daily basis?
The easiest way to infuse some beauty in your daily life is with the perfect piece of daily jewelry. You know they type: you can’t help but keep in on day after day because it just makes you feel so darn good about yourself. Vivien Frank is a brand chock full of the pieces you just can’t start your day without. I am head over heels in love with the Plum and Pink Modern Friendship Bracelet. (The trouble is deciding whether to give it away or keep!) And the Good Karma Bracelet? Who couldn’t use some good karma? Vivien Frank jewelry is simple, sophisticated and beautiful: the perfect way to reawaken our best selves, don’t you think?

i feel happy when i am with them!
Their ability to know when something’s wrong, even when I try to pretend otherwise!
that we’re both open to anything/everything and love to travel.
I leave hanging out with her feeling so refreshede. Some people, though you love them, are tiring to hang out with. But a best friend, leaves you feeling renewed.
My best friend is SO generous. He has taught me the value, beauty, and joy of true generosity.
My mom has always been my best friend, so it’s difficult to name just one thing that makes her special. My favorite line from the old TV show “My So-called Life” is when Angela (Claire Danes) says, “Sometimes someone says something really small, and it just fits into this empty place in your heart.” I think that describes my mom and why we are so close. She always manages to say what I need to hear to fill my heart.
No matter how much time goes by between us talking or seeing each other we always fall into a natural place of existence, as if no time has passed at all.
my bff knows me so well, she can sense across the miles when i am having a bad day and calls to check on me. that’s love, people.
My best friend is my sister and she’s just always been there for me. And always will.
My best friend makes everyone, including me, feel like they are the most brilliant and beautiful person in the world. I would love to give her this bracelet for that.
We have so many happy, funny, sweet memories.
She is full of wisdom but also humility.
We can be totally honest with each other.
She can hear how I’m really doing even if I don’t admit it.
It’s simple, we trust in each other and are mutually always there for one another!
I can play the same song twenty times in a row while on a roadtrip with my best friend and although she does not really like the song, she still sings her heart out every time. <3
that no matter how bad a day/week I have had they are always there with smiling faces and lots of laughs
we’ve been friends for over 40 years.. we can be together and have fun or just be quiet together. Now we are gramma’s together and it’s amazing
That we both have the same sense of sarcastic humor…we can literally bounce remarks back and forth over completely random things, and we still know what we’re talking about.
My best girlfriend is eternally happy and is capable of rationalising every decision/ poor judgement call that I make. I am always beaming ear-to-ear whenever I leave after one of our coffee dates, with cheeks that hurt from laughing at how silly we are! Helps put things in perspective and give me my fill of undiluted love.
i love that my best friend knows everything about me – we grew up together and i can always, always be myself around her. there are so many memories to laugh about!
He is my puching bag! hahaha! strange but true! he always allow me to punch his arms whenever I feel bad.. yeah sometimes it hurts.. and he’s always there for me.. :))
my fave/best friend is my husband. everything about him is special!
My closest/best friend always says the funniest things when I least expect it; her dry, sarcastic sense of humor always pulls me out of whatever funk I may be in. No one else has the same ability as she does to make me laugh so hard my abs and cheeks hurt.
that she is always there when i need a good laugh or a good cry…but, mostly a good laugh
Just a few things of my favorite things about my closest friend…she makes me laugh, challenges me and is always there for me. She’s pretty much the best
She is always there for me, always honest, and always down for fun. Good friends are hard to come by!
My two sisters are (equally but in different ways) my best friends. Two years older than me and two years younger. I will never find closer friends than them because they know from experience why I am the person that I am. My favorite thing about them is the fact that there is so much I do NOT have to say because they already know. Just a look speaks volumes.
My best friend is so special because he is one of life’s good guys & would go to the ends of the earth for the people he loves & the children he educates daily. I honestly believe that if there were more people like him in the world it would be a much nicer place!
I feel confident and good about myself when I’m with her!
Loyalty…she always has been and always will be there for me!
They are always there and they always care!
My best friend happens to be in her mid 70′s- while I’m in my early 20′s.
I’ve known her since I was 15 months old, she worked at the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society here in Christchurch, and she helped us when my mum was diagnosed.
Since then, she has helped me in SO many ways.. to name a few:
She built me a mezzanine room in her apartment for me to stay in,
picked me up from school when I was little, so I could go to her place and hang out till my dad finished work,
supported me emotionally for MANY years through MANY things…
let me live with her and her husband who had Parkinsons Disease (I was 17 and had just moved out of home!),
helped me find jobs,
supported me with my pregnancy when no one else would,
helped me with correspondence school…
She is magical.
Its not just that though, we share so many of the same ‘views’ on the world- we both loathe social gatherings and ‘fake’ friendliness.. I could go on and on but I won’t.
She is brilliant. She is a wonderwoman and she is my best friend- but what makes her so special is that there is only one of her and she is all mine!
That I’m married to him.
Abundant love and affection.
The electric connection I felt when I first met my BF has stayed with me for the past seven years. I love his passion for classical music; to say he is obsessed is putting it mildly. That obsession makes our lives full of music too. And as a bonus, I’m lucky to be married to him!
She’s seen me at my worst and she loves me anyway.
My favorite thing about my best friend is our dance parties. We love turning up our favorite songs and jumping around our apartment until our feet are sore and we’re out of breath, and it always puts us in such a great mood. No matter how bad of a day either of us have had or how much the pains of growing up may stress us out, we always have each other to cut loose with. We help each other feel carefree and silly when we need it the most!
we switch from laughter to heavy conversation and back without noticing…we laugh easily together…she inspires me.
My best friend Wendy always know when I news a hand. How she knows that is a beautiful miracle!
She knows me better than anyone, which means she knows exactly how to make me smile!
She’s the twin I always wished for.
We go for late night slurpee runs, not only because seeing each other brightens my day, but just because we can
That he knows my faults and loves me anyways
She is the cement that holds some of my cracks together…
I can always trust here to tel me what’s up, even if I don’t want to hear.
