Today we are honored to introduce you to Fani from Maslinda Designs.

Please introduce yourself to our readers and explain a little bit about your business.

“Maslinda Designs” is the name of my designer line of women’s accessories and other handmade creations. My aspiration is to make life just a little bit prettier for women.

Ever since l can remember, I loved making things with my hands,especially things l could wear. I often wore my own custom creations and even created items for my friends. After studies in French Literature and Theatrical Costume, I have turned my love and attention to my own designer jewelry line.

We believe that one of the ways to achieve happiness is to “Do what you love, love what you do.” How does this philosophy apply to your life?

Working as a full time solopreneur was a conscious choice. This decision involves several risks and sacrifices compared to a “regular” job but also the immense joy of doing for a living something a genuinely enjoy and living a life l love. I think that whatever you do you should do with purpose and passion or not at all. This philosophy applies to personal life as well. My life may not be perfect (who’s is anyway?) but at least my relationships, my beliefs, my actions are driven by passion, love and the search for joy and purpose.

Our mission here at The Bright Side Project is to spread sunshine on a daily basis because we firmly believe that life is (still) beautiful. Where do you find beauty and inspiration?

I believe that beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. I try to find beauty in the most humble and mundane aspects of life and focus on the here and now.

On a dreary day, what do you do to infuse your life with a little bit of sunshine?

Living in Greece has the upside of many many sunny days per year, so usually a short walk does the trick, for even faster stress relief my two cats are an endless source of cuteness, cuddles and laughs.

What are you most grateful for?

I see every single day ahead of me as a wonder to be grateful for.
