Hello, dear readers. Inherent in the mission statement of The Bright Side Project is the unspoken belief that to “Do What You Love, Love What You Do” is an absolutely essential component in creating a happy and healthy lifestyle. Every now and then, we will ask our contributors to answer a few short questions on the ideas of happiness, creativity and sunshine. We hope these rays of light help inspire you to find the sunshine in your day, today and everyday.
Today we are honored to introduce you to Juliane Evans from Modern Mural.
Please introduce yourself to our readers and explain a little bit about your business.
Hi, I’m Juliane Evans and I am the owner of Modern Mural. Our team creates affordable modern art using a mélange of mediums and sizes to fit any sized wall. Oversized is our motto. Our massive art collection features 5000 hand-selected artworks from global artists. The genres range from Paris graffiti to serene coastal landscapes to inspired collage, we have one of the largest modern collections. All of the artwork is produced at our studio in California so we are able to deliver the best quality. What this also means is that if we don’t have a mural size you’re looking for, we can create a custom size for you. We use eco-friendly inks and recyclable materials whenever possible without sacrificing quality.
We believe that one of the ways to achieve happiness is to “Do what you love, love what you do.” How does this philosophy apply to your life?
As an artist I know how important it is to let my voice cultivate through my hands. The desire to create the chef-d’oeuvre that will define my very purpose in this life continues to drive me. When I go to work it doesn’t feel like work, which means that I find myself “working” in the evenings, weekends, on vacation etc. because I love what I do.
Our mission here at The Bright Side Project is to spread sunshine on a daily basis because we firmly believe that life is inherently beautiful. Where do you find beauty and inspiration?
I find it all around – the majestic California coast, the hummingbirds in my yard, my family & friends. The work of other artists of course, too.
On a dreary day, what do you do to infuse your life with a little bit of sunshine?
I like to make a pot of herbal tea and play board games with my husband.
At this very moment, what are you most grateful for?
A blessed life with a wonderful husband, a superb greyhound, very special family & friends and a job that I love.
